Booking Terms & Conditions

Data Sharing:

Personal information you provide will be shared with the property owner and housekeeper, who may contact you regarding your forthcoming reservation. This is essential for the fulfilment of your booking contract.

1. Booking & Payment

A booking contract is formed once we have received your booking details and deposit, and your reservation has been confirmed.

  • For bookings made 10 weeks or more in advance, a 30% deposit is required.
  • The balance is due 10 weeks before arrival.
  • A reminder will be sent, but if payment is not received within 14 days of the due date, the booking will be cancelled and the property re-listed. Deposits are non-refundable.
  • You may choose to pay the full amount at the time of booking if the balance is due shortly thereafter.

2. Length of Stay, Arrival & Departure

  • Minimum stay: 2 nights
  • Check-in: from 4:00pm
  • Check-out: by 11:00am (unless otherwise agreed)

3. Use of the Property

  • The property must not be sub-let, in whole or in part.
  • The number of guests must not exceed that stated on your booking form.
  • Guests must vacate the property at the end of their booking period without demand.

4. Security Deposit

A £150 refundable security deposit is payable prior to arrival to cover any damages or specialist cleaning.

It will be refunded after departure, once the property has been inspected.

5. Care of the Property

  • Please keep the property clean and tidy throughout your stay and leave it in the same condition upon departure.
  • Additional cleaning charges may apply if excessive cleaning is required.
  • Respect neighbours and ensure no nuisance or disturbance is caused.
  • The property must be securely locked when unoccupied.
  • The owner or their agent must be granted reasonable access if required.

6. Insurance

Guests are advised to obtain personal holiday insurance to cover cancellations, loss, or damage.

7. Cancellation by Owner

If The St Andrews Wee Holiday Company or the property owner cancels your booking, a full refund will be issued.

8. Liability & Indemnity

By signing the booking form, you agree to indemnify the owner against any loss or damage caused deliberately or negligently by you or your party.

The owner is insured against loss or injury through their negligence.

Use of the property is entirely at your own risk, except where loss or injury arises from the owner’s negligence.

9. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 6 weeks before arrival: Full refund minus £50 admin fee
  • Between 6 weeks and 1 week: Full refund minus £50 admin fee if the property is re-let
  • 7 days or less: Full rental amount is payable
